bulkhead saddles

Any Boat, Gear, or outdoor related item you have for sale. If you use it on a paddling trip, or to prepare for one, it's fair game.

bulkhead saddles

Post by keithcausey »

I am very new to the Forum buy got some great advice about Mitchell paddles from other members the past few days. I want a bulkhead saddle and cannot seem to get anywhere with my quest. Horizon does not answer my inquiries and I hear they no longer make them. Blackfly I hear makes them but cannot find anything but their canoes on the net. There is a Canadian company that has website but I don;t read French. Any guidance for my quest would be greatly appreciated, Keith

If Jeremy (RodeoClown, owner of BlackFly) doesn't have what you need, also check with Bob Britt (horizongfx).

I got a saddle through Jeremy (Blackfly) and was very happy with whole experience. Price was good, shipping was fast, and he was good to work with, even though I'm sure that he didn't make much money on the sale. Send him an email at info@blackflycanoes.com

Thanks friends for your responses. Horizon no longer makes these saddles. I have a call in to Blackfly and I intend to call Sandy tomorrow to check on the one he has for sale. Thanks again, Keith. OH yes, Canots Legere in Canada makes a nice looking one for $250 but would cost $300 to get it shipped to Alabama.
