What I think I know: It was/is an old school, down river racer, designed by Jim Henry. Believe it was made in fiberglass layup from 1975 to 1979, and made in kevlar layup in 1984.
I would appreciate any & all information related to the Screamer; including original pricing, dimensions/specs, handling, positive/negative issues, and any other knowledge related to the Screamer that you would care to share.
Thanks!

Re: Mad River Screamer - Information seeking
Mad River Screamer on sawhorses.
Old school, downriver racer; designed by Jim Henry, and last made in 1984.
Information was received from another source.
This canoe was raced, but spent most of it's life in storage.
It needs a little cosmetic work, where close encounters with boulders were made, and minor repair work was done. Otherwise in great condition for a nearly 30 year old canoe.
Sold at a moving sale in the central midwest for $190.00.
Sought information on this canoe here.
Never received any information, but decided someone "might" like to see what one looks like, just for grins.
