Currently looking for a paddle under $150.00 if possible. My current paddle has to be refurbed but it will cost a good bit. Plan to have that work done in the spring. Looking for something that handle a rock brances and etc.

If you want a cheap tough beater paddle to get you through until your other one is ready, you would be hard pushed to do better than one of these, but do try first if you can, some people won't like the apparent blade flex and prefer a stiffer blade on a more flexible shaft.
I keep one as a spare, which reminds me I still haven't cut my replacement one down to size yet.

If you're willing to spend $190 for a paddle that will last a lot longer, I recommend the "Millbrook" by Norse, available from Millbrook Boats.
Same weight as an all carbon paddle, but a lot more durable, and maintenance free.

Kaz, I like the design of the Millbrook Norse a lot. Any chance for a spoon-blade version?
