I've had this new carbon 115cm Galasport Double Torque(#00990) paddle shaft in my
dry constant ~70F degree closet for ~4 years now...just collecting dust(figuratively).

am doing mostly flatwater....(sigh)
Pretty much in line with Gonzo...sadly most of my paddling >75% is flatwater with 15' canoe....but the 4wd is finally tuned up...LOL. After some more so-called career-advancement Certification classes are paid for = an OC-1 of my own!

Add to a few mentions of Maine offering choices.. The advantage north-central(and up) Maine has is the availability to do both WW and flatwater all in the same day, if desired. Lots of water scrunched together(DeLorme's state Atlas & Gazeteer is excellent for showing the woods roads). A good snow-ye...
