Used -- either as a kayak or C1.

I have a spare Dagger C1 insert and I'm very handy with minicell & glue.

Oh, and for the record, I still LOVE MY WHEELBOY. Minor outfitting issues gives me something to do -- love the WB console.

Bring on the FatBoy. In the mean-time, I will have to aquire an H3 255 and convert.

Marko, you mention your wheelboy hip grabber ... are these available? I've not ever seen them on the Drakker website.

I've had the same issue. I equated it to the heat of direct sun.

I'm in for a FatBoy pre-order as long as my money doesn't get locked up for a year.

Be conservative with your announcements

Marko, I appreciate your dedication to the C1 community and I'm enjoying my WheelBoy. I look forward to your new C1 gear. However, I find myself ignoring any of your availability statements. For example, the WB availability of May'04 was actually Sept'04. The WB hip-grabbers are still not available....

WB wieght -- how does it fit

I am 6' 185 lbs and the WB is great, but it's clear Im at the very upper end of its limit. In big steep wave holes, I wonder if a Big Boy would do me better, since I have to work hard to keep the bow out of the water. For pure hole play, it's right on for cartwheels, etc. Running 3+ rivers can be in...

Where is Drakkar

Not for the last 2-3 weeks straight. It's something else, since the Backwash parent company also has this same problem. It could be a virus that's taken over their server or ...

Has Drakkar gone down for the count?

I have not been able to go to the Drakkar website for a couple of weeks. Anyone know if they are still alive, well, and producing boats?

Marko, where are you?

Pacific Northwest WheelBoy Playfest

It's time to plan a WheelBoy weekend in Reno, NV. So Bruce, Larry, Randy, and others; lets select a weekend in August. How about August 6-7? How is the WW Park at this time of year? Hey Matt, how far is Reno from Switzerland? All you other west coast C1ers, please join us in a weekend of play and gi...

Lovin the lime green

My lime-green WheelBoy ensures the yakers can keep track of all my moves. People refer to my WB as the stealth bomber -- sleek and fast. Put my WB in a big'ole Idaho wave hole and I'm mixing lime-aide for everyone. 8)

knee support

Long-time WB owner. At first I had the same feeling about my knees not being spread apart enough. However, I resisted removing them and I now find my knee positioning to be comfortable and natural. I have actually mounted minicell foam on top of the WB knee stop, which provides a more efficient ener...

WheelBoy playability on the river

Playability, that exactly describes the WheelBoy in play on the river. My stats are 6' 185 lbs. OK, I've given my WB review in the pool. Now it's time to review how it performs at the play hole. I've been to the river three times and the WB behaves differently in the current. The WB is edgier than I...
