Re: Esquif Zephyr for Big Guy?

I'm agree with Nick Parker - it is a good hull! Unfortunately I cracked mine when jump 2 m waterfall. Twintex is very durable against sliding kicks, but not resistant against vertical kicks. So don't jump waterfalls, and now seal lounch too

"I believe the material is polypropylene based"
Nop. Taureau made from polyethylene. Twintex is based on polypropylene. ( OC-1 Zephyr)

" I got mixed up in AWWSR course last week, at one point whilst practising setting up a livebait in minimum time (we were given 10 seconds, and generally failed to do it in 10) I realized that it can take a good few seconds to undo a screwgate and thread it around a tight chest harness - grabbing a ...

Re: Whithewater tripping solo canoe

Thanks. I'm 5'10" and 190lbs. The Rival was perfect for me. It is 12'2" while the Zephyr is 11'3". Hopefully the Zephyr can do the job. I wanted to try one last summer but couldn't. What I like about it is its weight... I'm not sure the Zephyr is the best boat. I don't know if it will hold two 60L ...

Prelude is good only for steep creeking, do you want it? Just sell it out, and buy real canoe like Esquif Vertige!
