You can get a better idea of the width from the video of my first prototype. Nothing has changed in the bow except more (~1/4") depth and re-shaped deck edges.

Thanks Bob...you are right that the pics made it a bit hard to tell, but guessed it was regulation width, just wasn't positive.
It does look great though! Wouldn't mind taking a spin it one sometime for sure.

That boat look great!! When are you going into production??
Re: It's a sickness...
I'm hoping to take the mold up to Kaz around Christmas. Depends on his schedule after that.

Re: It's a sickness...
I'm still interested in this boat Bob.
If I could get free Sunday afternoon (5/11/14) would it be possible to try out the latest prototype at T'ville?

Kaz wasn't interested in doing the layup, so it's all on me.
I'm running behind schedule. (What else is new...) I'm paddling V3 now, but V4 (The final one. I promise.) is almost ready to take the official mold from. V4 is 3.55M long (as opposed to 3.65M) and 62cm wide (as opposed to 65cm), and is designed to use a much-improve seaming method. I'm looking for an 18 lb final weight (outfitted) in carbon/carbon. I'm not sure whether I can get it done before I leave for the Open Boat Nats in Montana, but I'm trying.
The current prototype is almost 30 lbs, and not that close shape-wise to what I expect the final product to be. Lots of changes, mostly above the water line though.
