LCCC Year in Review Video

This is a 19-minute video of the highlights of the 2012 paddling year for the Lower Columbia Canoe Club. Lots of single-blade action. Check it out at: http://vimeo.com/58301319

The video starts with a series of action shots, moves into a section on "Falling with Style." Later there's a "Funny Moments" section at 7:50, followed by a section on "Finesse," and a carnage and rolls section at 14:04. The last sequence at 15:20 is "Tandem-mania"--lots of tandem paddling, which saw a resurgence in our club this year.

Enjoyed this vid tremendously. It showed a lot of different perspectives of c boating. Solo, tandem young and experienced. My favorite part was at about 15:28 into the video, that gentleman is ripped for his life experience. We all should strive for that kind of fitness in our c boating years to come!

People who paddle slalom may recognize that guy. It's Jim Bollermann. He's been paddling with the club for years and could easily pick up and bench press me. One of the nicest guys on the water.
