I found a Cascade, WTB a skirt - help?

Any Boat, Gear, or outdoor related item you have for sale. If you use it on a paddling trip, or to prepare for one, it's fair game.

I found a Cascade, WTB a skirt - help?

Post by Grand Canyoned »

Howdy, :D

I purchased a Cascade, but the seller was unwilling to sell the sprayskirt with the boat.

So, I'm hoping I can give new life to a used skirt from a C-Boat member or guest.

If you have a sprayskirt to sell that will fit a Cascade, (for the tunnel, my waist is in the 34"-36" range),

Please give me a call at anytime at 510-847-8015 (cell) or toll free at the office (10am-6pm Pacific time) at 866-667-5988.

THANKS FOR ANY HELP. -- W. A.

You may want to check with American Whitewater, at Gauley-fest they had a few MountainSurf C1 skirts for the Atom/Cascade cockpit for around $25. I was trying to find one for my Viper in the pile but no luck.

$25? When I got there, they were $10! And maybe they still are. I bought one that fit a slalom boat I bought, the boat came with one that was too big and I donated that skirt - I'd bet it fit a Cascade and you. I'd bet they still have it... The trick would be in tracking it down...

BTW, if Oci One Kanubi = Richard Hopley, this is Scott - we met in the parking lot of the rest stop on 19 the Sunday afternoon of GAF.

$10, that's a heck of a deal. Man, they were nice skirts.

I think as a retailer, you can end up sitting on C-1 skirts for a while... That is the 4th time over the years that I've picked up a new C-1 skirt for $10 at the GAF (usually at the River Left Store). My father in law figured out that they fit his sea kayak as well (British Greenland Style frequently have small cockpits).

No, Scott; it is not I looking for a Casacade skirt.

I had a Cascade about 10 years ago, but it was even heavier than my Ocoee and just as long! 'Cept for the no-hole-on-top part, what's the point of the pain? I tried a factory-converted Gradient a few years later and it was a big improvement, for my purposes.

I dunno who this celebrity-impersonator is, pretending to be me.

Good to hear from you,
