CBoaters near Milwaukee?

Post by MDtheDocta15 »

Hey all,

I currently live and teach in Milwaukee, WI, and unfortunately most of my paddling friends from the Madison/Milwaukee area have either moved away or are just not interested in paddling anymore. I am looking for a paddling community, club, or just some good people in the area to hit up MidWest rivers. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Any info or new contacts would be great.

Thanks!

Wisconsin Sierra Club RTS (river touring section). That entry in a Google search will get you there.

Hi Mike,

I am in Madison and plan to get out on some rivers this summer, including some time on the Wausau course and maybe a trip with the Sierra Club folks. I have done precisely zero whitewater in Wisconsin but I hear the Wolf and Peshtigo are enjoyable. Feel free to get in touch,
