Pick up the Canoe Movie 1, there is some footage in the bonus features.

Wasn't there only a second or two of footage on the Canoe Movie extras?

A buddy of mine has a VHS tape of Nolan's Niagara Gorge run. The video is probably 10 minutes in length. I've searched extensively for copies but have had no luck finding any for sale or any appreciable video to watch online. I think the Gorge video was only available through Nolan. It is a good video if anyone is able to obtain it.

I have a copy of the original VHS and it's truly awe-inspiring. There is an extensive warning about duplicating the video on the VHS. It would be smart though to turn this into a digital format since VHS machines are going the way of the dinosaur, but I don't personally have the capability. Perhaps if someone else does, we should talk. I don't know Nolan, but by this time, he really should be posting his video of this achievement on Youtube or Vimeo for everyone to enjoy. I don't think he's selling the video anymore. It originally went for $90. I'd be happy to post it for him if he was interested.

When I worked for him in the late 90's into early 0000's he was out of the videos and said he would not make more.

It would be very easy to make an electronic copy of this video if there is a DVD

I'm pretty sure it was strictly on VHS tape. I may search around for a way to convert it to digital. This is historic, folkloric.

I've done the conversion before (a long time ago), and I still have the hardware. If you can't find anyone local, I'll check the functionality of my old stuff.

Thanks, Bob, but this thread got me thinking about all the various family VHS tapes I've been meaning to convert and I ordered a analog to digital converter off Amazon last night that works with the video editing software I use.
