First canoe descent of Illgen Falls! Located on the Baptism river on the North Shore of Lake Superior in Minnesota. The first person to run this waterfall was in a c1. They called him Fearless Fred and it was the late 70s. Since then numerous kayakers have made the plunge. As far as I know this is the first time it's been done in a canoe! Nice work Kraig Lund!!!

I know now why they call it "baptism" river.....
