59th Hudson River Whitewater Derby... May 7,8
Anyone coming?
I'll be racing on Saturday (slalom) and helping with safety on Sunday (downriver) most likely.
Fun old school course, typically a great weekend of fun around town and the river.

That's odd - works fine for me! (I refreshed the page as well to be sure it wasn't just a cached version).
Google North Creek Hudson River Whitewater Derby - perhaps you'll have better luck that way.

Still works fine for me, but I'll mention it to the folks running it when i talk to them next.
Looks like a bit of rain this week; I'm hoping for a level between 4.5' and 5.5' on the North Creek gauge, which is what I consider a nice level to run that stretch in (lower and it gets a bit bony, higher and some of the rapids wash out between North Creek and Riparius).

Awesome day 1 of the Derby - nice level (4.38'), nice folks. I think I had one clean run and one run we touched a few gates (2 or 3). Not to bad. Images and more info later.
Tomorrow's downriver should be good too.

Nice to see Jaxstraw there... and bring home some hardware on Sunday:)
I'll post a few images as well as a link to the full results once they are posted.
Next year is the 60th - I hope a bunch of folks from here can make it!

Nice meeting you as well, Sir Adam.
What a fun weekend ! My introduction to racing leaves me wanting more . . . I'll be back next year.
Thanks to all of the amazing volunteers, safety boaters, and spectators. now we only need more racers !
