I'll have my 6 year old with me for paddling 7/23- I'll be in an Esquif blast- Anyone want to paddle Kibler Valley, on the Dan or the Nanty. Or anything else about class II within 3-4 hours max of Charlotte.

Hey Bill,
I live south of Raleigh, will be racing a 16 ft. Penobscot, but will be paddling a oc1 whitewater canoe on 7/23. If you don't mind I'll give you a call early next week.

Awesome talk to you next week! NCDavid I think will be joining us. My son is 6/almost 7 so he'll need a little play time, but it will be awesome to have a few members from the site there-

Trevor/Mike W care to join in too. Anyone else?

I just sent you a pm to see what was going on with your trip.

I guess I'm going to DC tomorrow- I'm sick of driving, got home at 12:30 last night after an afterwork paddle

Kibler Valley

Post by billcanoes »

I currently don't think I can make it into a boat let alone down a river. So this Saturday is almost positively off, for me- hoping to recover for 7/30 on CHattooga- but its still 2 days away-hoping the ribs are just tender and I'm being wuss.

riverratrsf:
As of earlier today David and Tommes are still planning on meet at Kibbler at 11. Trevor and his friends were interested in going but I don't know if they are in or not.

I don't have your #- so I hope you see this

Tommes is near the Nanty and David is paddling there Sunday- and Trevor cant get there till after 12, so it appears with my injury the trip is off- Tarheel paddlers will be there though- the river is pretty straight forward- Sorry I fouled up my ribs which fouled up the trip.
