The Jackson Hero/SuperHero looks promising, if it proves to have enough initial "firmness" for C-1 paddling. Initial reports suggest it is the fastest river runner/ creeker under 9 feet. There is a 360 degree display on the Jacksonkayak.com site where you can get a good look at the Superhero lines.

Not a boat conversion but a person conversion - I've been learning K1 in a mamba. The initial stability is awesome - of course my butts on the bottom (which is a whole new perspective) but it is a wide boat and I would think it would work pretty good. Coming from a Zoom, well tipping over has only happened while playing

I have converted the mamaba for creeking and I love it. The boat is very stable and it tracks very well.

Hope that this helps

Larry, did you break the H3 monster? ;-)

I love the looks of the Mamba, too. Would like to hear more about it.

Creeking season is comming up!

Cheers, Jan

No one else with a Mamba, eh? Thought it would be more popular.

I'd really like to get a second creeker that is kinda more sporty than the Nomad 8.5.
I was wondering about the Volume of the Mamaba. The 7.5 says 51 gallons. That sounds too low. Even the GT 7.5 has 60. I gues it might be 60 gals. That would be the size I am looking for. I want a small, light boat that has a planing hull.

Any insight is much appreciated.
