Anyone,
In a hunt for a boat, I've noticed that someone's selling a Savage Skeeter over on Boatertalk. Anything I should know about it before talking to her....design/performance-wise?
Any info/experience welcomed....

I have
I didn't like it, but I never gave it a lot of chances. It has a big learnin curve, but like all of Frankies boats after you can handel it it is great. It is one of those if you ain't diggin you're dyin. If it is a good price buy it even if you don't like it or can't get use to it, you won't lose a penny on it cause those who do love it will be wantin to buy it, cause nuthin last for ever.
Hi
I have a savage skeeter and i like it. I'm 14 and have paddled it on flat water going up a river and did it with out a problem and have paddled it on white water. I did use to paddle a spanish fly, i liked the boat because i could sink the end down in a back channel but i couldnt move up the back channels when i needed alot of power to get up. In the skeeter I moved up the small bits i couldnt do when i paddled the spanish fly. When i was in the main sections i could still surf the smaller waves and stay in them with out any need to add alot of power. I have progressed alot more in this then in the fly and i have fell out of this alot less times then when i was in the spanish fly which is good because i cant roll. I'm about 5 foot 5 and i'm still growing and i am tight in, but i can grow alot more and still be able to fit in. Plus i think its lighter then the fly because i could put the skeeter on my shoulder but i couldnt do it with the fly. So i personally think this boat is great.

paddling a flooded canoe is easy. stopping is easy as long as you have some kayaks to help you stop.
