Could someone clarify...
A few classes are shown for Friday, and then again for Saturday as well (i.e. OC1 Open Rec, OC2 Open Rec and Race)

Question about the NAT'Ls race form

For the Saturday classes there are two sections on the form. On the first page the classes are under the heading "Slalom" and the Saturday classes on the second page have a heading of "Combined Downriver Slalom"
For those racers new to the event, the Combined Downriver Slalom is a competition where you will have a downriver run and two slalom runs. The winner of the class is determined by calculating a percentage of the fastest time for both the downriver and slalom and adding the two together. This is done separately for each combined class. For the slalom component, only your best run will be used.
The downriver will be starting at the second put-in and will run thru Nantahala Falls. Duke Power will be providing us with some extra water on Saturday so that we can hold the downriver event before the river becomes crowded with all the rafts.
Anyone who is planning on coming that has not mailed in an entry form, please plan on registering at the race as I most likely won't receive it before we start our drive down.
You will be able to register until the end of the day Thursday on-site.

I'm glad I've got the ME! I've made that run in two races in the past - once in the Viper once in the Interlude. I don't have the precise times, but I want to say in the Viper it took 45 minutes? And I was passed by the dude in an OCA with three kids (none over 4) I think we did it in about half that time in the Interlude, but maybe we put in at the Ledges...
Did you say beer?
