Yes, the Mentor is in fact in my garage. And with only 3 coats of wax the flourescent lights bouncing off the hull really are blinding. It makes me smile, as it is very similar to when I first got my Groove, and flipped it over to look at the flat, unmarred hull, glistening in the mid-morning Canadian sun.
Not word (yet) on when we'll build the mold, but by Sat. morning it should be well waxed...as will my hands...
Shiny, shiny, shiny...ahhh I'm blinded!

Update....for better or worse.
The mold will be made in 2-3 weeks, ish, when Pete will be making another one.
What this means:
1) The Mentor will not be at the Armada at the end of April
2) Depending on Pete's schedule, I may not be able to make it either (when you're getting free help and advice, you go by their schedule gratefully!). Pete apologized, as he knows I was hoping to bring a boat down, but with their business booming as it is, and another mold to be made shortly, he can't justify them stopping production just for me (and I completely understand - I hope you all do, too!).

I must be slipping. Both Martin & Bill beat me on a squirtboat topic For once I wasn't goofing off at work, checking C-Boatsmartin wrote:I can't believe I beat Mike W on a squirtboat rellated topic... ...
Like Bill, I want to see pictures. I think this is going to be a boat that will be real fun to paddle. I'm bummed that it won't make the Armada, but I know it will be worth the wait. Adam, I hope you can make it even w/o the Mentor.
What's the other mold of?
