new site out there on the interweb...

Post by bearboater »

hey everybody,
even though I am not a national paddler yet, I have decided to make a website to better advertise for my sponsors, Peak UK, The Canoe Rack, and Guardian Oncology and Center for Wellness. I also have a host of links to other great slalom sites, which have a ton of slalom video. I also have a little video of an exhausted me racing the kern river fest. unfortunately, I was unable to get full footage, but there is an almost full run in there. not my best, but not my worst, just a fun little course. I wish I had more energy, and I am always open for advice. but anyway the purpose of the site is to help spread the work about my sponsors around, and to try to entice more sponsors for myself, and my recently formed C2 team of Nick Chanin of Denver Colorado, and myself.
anyhow i hope that this gives some of you something to do during the long days at work, as I had nothing to do yesterday after recovering from surgery still (happened on monday). so four hours, and alot of yogurt and weight lifting later here we are.
so enjoy.

also, if you have a site and would like a link from mine, or if you have a site, and have space for a link, let me know, I am still working out some of the little glitches from it's original debut this morning. either pm me here or it's bearboater.mac@mac, or bearboateratgmail.com
thanks guys.
I forgot to get the link up to cboats.net but i will adam.

nice layout. It's great to see another slalom Olympic hopeful athlete out there. Train hard then fire it up. You got my support!

hey everybody, just wanted to say thanks for the support, I am getting most of the glitches. and I think that the new video sans swearing is awesome. also, I have added links, and will try to expand the site with every update I do. the links I have on there now are a host of slalom paddlers, and most of them have a huge database of video. if you read the most current blog, I have listed names with imo, the best collection of slalom video, doerfler also has some creeking footy. i will try to find footage of my first wavewheel(it was a weird little 18-20 footer in texas that showed up, and was beautiful after 8 inches of rain...) to get up there as well.
again thanks for the support, and please come back. it's great to see that there are already 95 visits shortly after 1 day of functionality.

Hey Issac,

Outstanding Job!

Super to see things close to my heart; made on a Mac, all about C paddling, the far north (the Kazan), and all in a young spirit. Well Done.

Quick question, what kind of jacket are you wearing in the kazan river shot with your pop? It is a blue one and you had the hood up.

All the best in with your future C paddling life.

PS Your Vertige is still serving me well.

Count me among those who visited. Good job!

Competition aside, all the cool stuff you're doing in those boats at 20-years old - life's good! Keep focused, keep positive, and I'll cheer for you at the Olympics!
