Is gel Weldwood safe on vinyl?

Is gel Weldwood safe on vinyl?

I use it to glue to foam and plastic, but should I use the thin stuff on vinyl?

I've used the gel for years on glass, royalex, and polyethylene. Haven't had any problems on any of those materials.
