Hello,
I have recently made the transition from my Nitro to the Prelude. I am now looking for a two piece paddle that will fit in the Prelude. I currently use a Werner carbon . I really like this paddle so if anyone knows someone who makes a similair two piece paddle I would appreciate the info. Any other suggestions would also be appreciated.

Werner two piece
I have a Bandit I orderd from Werner three years ago, not carbon. I also use a Carbon Bandit as my main paddle.I've tried my breakdown in whitewater with good results, but have not had to use it in three years now. I also just outfitted a Prelude with a bulkhead and can't see any place to store the breakdown other than under the floatation. Doug

The prelude should take an unbroken paddle under the Decklines... failing that making your own breakdown paddle from an old one is easy(ish) and if you don't feel confident I'm sure you can find an outfitter who is.

I use a break down
nantahala.
it is flat so it rides better under my back float bag.

Mitchell breakdown paddle
I just bought a used Mitchell carbon breakdown paddle. I didn't see breakdown paddles on their website, but since I now have one, I know they make them. Probably you could email them with what you want, and they'd get back to you with what they can do and for how much. They've been great to deal with in the past for repairs, etc.
