Hey, I've heard there is a good video of Kaz running gates floating around (maybe at a Nationals at Wasau?) Someone please post a link if it's on-line. Thanks-

I've taken a fair amount of video at Wausau and Minden. I'll see if Kaz made it in. Since I was also racing, it was impossible to get everyone.

Kaz just barely shows up as a blur on the screen... when played in super S-L-O-W motion
Kaz takes a shower so fast the water doesn't even hit him
Chuck Norris sleeps with the lights on tightly clutching a teddy-bear because he has Kaz-mares
Kaz lost his hair from wind friction
Kaz will send me a funny email in 5, 4, 3, 2...
(I have some footage of him on the video that "Bob from Colorado" shot at the Wausau Nat's a few years back Dooley... not sure how to get in touch with him... but he's on here now and then.)

I'd say that Kaz has no Rival, but he might have at least one he'd sell you at a good price.

Hi Dooley - I think I have the vid you are looking for on my harddrive. It is not the best quality but still ok. A very nice vid anyway.
If John agrees I could host it and put up a link here for it. If not I could send it to you by email.
Cheers Frank

Hmm, I posted a similar response to another thread, but I'll try again.
The Westwoods have a DVD with footage of Kaz smokin' the gates, at Minden I think.
Deb, Carole, keep me honest here. I didn't dream that did I?

It took a while to find the files (I'm not very organized...) but here's what I took of Kaz in 2003 at Wausau.

Thanks for posting the video. That's some mighty fine open canoe slalom paddling. The tandem paddling in the video was impressive too.

The S turn at the end of the solo run was done perfectly. Much better line than the C1 run that was posted a couple of months ago. And Kaz had to get the entire length of the boat through.
