After having posted the footage of Ian showing how it's done, I thought I should show some footage of my self on the subject of how not to do it... ...!
I know, I still have a LOT to learn... !
Criticism and comments are welcome!
So THAT'S what a 'pool session' is! Looks warm. Looks like you've got that thing dialed in! Is that a high-brace roll you're using to come up on the stern? Looks real neat. I think I'll try that tomorrow.
Yes Sott, I am always worried about hitting someone, no matter how often I tell people to stay away there is always someone who paddles right into my path. I think yesterday I came within inches of hitting a guy on his head.
Mike, yes it is toasty!
Yes, that's a high-brace roll. I am actually trying to duplicate Ian's move that he does about 0:32 into the Video, where he flips intentionally and rolls up on a high brace roll into a stern squirt and then straight into an offside cartwheel. It is still one of the coolest moves I have ever seen!
Today I was at Parkhill though, a bit less warm. Onmfortunately the battery of my camera dies, so there is no footage. But if the lebvel holds I will go back tomorrow after work with fully charged batteries and if the guys who were there today show up again, I should get some footage!
I had the Groove out there todya. I even got on the wave with it! An absolute blast, and somewhat scary aty the same time!
TGG!

That's not what Jim thinks. He already told me last year at the JimiCup that the boat was too big for me... ... well then, chop em down, chop em down, chop em down, ... ...

The boat is the Ceemweaver, designed and built by Jim Snyder.
Here is a little writeup about it with pictures on Jim's website: http://www.rivrstyx.com/html/what_s_new ... bell_.html ; .Just scroll down.
Lot's of pictures courtesy of PAC here, too: http://picasaweb.google.com/paulcline2002/CQuirt#
Not sure if PS composites or any other builder has the mold yet and if any additional boats have been built yet (I bought Jim's prototype).
I knew that I had to have it within minutes of paddling the boat. It's one of my all time favorite boats, for sure!
Here are some pics of me playing in it on the Loop of the LY:
