4Fun weight question

Post by B-rad »

I have the opportunity to buy a near-new jackson 4Fun shell, but am unsure if it's too big a boat for me. I'm 6', 165lbs and am currently paddling an atom. I'd like this boat mostly for playboating. The range given by jackson is 165-230. As a c1 does that range get lower?

if you wanted to stick with a Jackson,
i would suggest the Plain Fun
your at the bottom of the range of the 4 Fun, great if you want a bigger river runner but you could be too light to be able to throw down the ends for playboating.
i'm just speaking from my personal experiences with the Fun series.
i have a Super fun and at the bottom end of the weight range.
great big water river runner and surfer but sucks trying to iniatiate ends.
just me 2 cents
