I have done the Hiwassee in an oc2 with cane seats more times than I have fingers and toes.
I would be game for the Ocoee, but I have only rafted it 2 times. I am sure I could make it all or at least most of it, if I had someone to show me the line but I just picked up a probe 12II and am new to the whole saddle and thigh strap deal.

guy in probe: PLG has rafted (deathyaked) the upper once and maybe done the lower four or five times. A week from Saturday will be his first time on the Ocoee in a hard boat. Dick, Doopey, and swimming Mexican will be there to babysit and we will do all the sneaks for him, if you get your boat outfitted with saddle and straps and could get a little time in to get the feel of it we would love to have you along, I think you will find be well conected to the boat will make a world of difference.
Cheatumjack:Stairsteps ain't on the Pleatue and I ain't been over there in at least two months, I wish I could stay on the Pleatue but dam if it's water don't run out quick.
I would love to do Section IV but it is like a 4 hour drive and we do it about every 8 to ten years: now if they would build that interstate through the mountains I'd go more often

So is this going to be the Big Ocoee Open Boat Symposium. A day on the ocoee, open boats as far as you can see. Snapping into eddies sending skirts flying. Dooley standing the spark on end in hades Hole, Me having a yard sale. What time, where to meet, Friday, Saturday, both? Richard bring the trailer!!!
"Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to slide in sideways totally worn out, shouting "Holy large steaming pile of dog doo what a Ride" " Nolan Whitesell
I am game
Just tell me when and where i will be there with a pile of boats

Let me talk to the Baby Sitter of America Jeje and I will get back to you I think he said The 25 th of this month. Dooley might be paddlin through stick in flat water that weekend but Dick can paddle standing up, Swimming Mexican will be there and his name says it all. Doopey will look confused and be talkin to no one in particular. Pinchalocogringo will be doing the Ocoee for the first time in a canoe which will only be like his seventh time in a canoe.Johnny apple bong has reappired of late. Denton is due for a trip, MattLong might be able to get a kitchen pass. We will call Jim Little but I would hold out too much hope on that happenin.Cummie own a canoe. heck we'll have so many attack swimmer, the butt boater will think we started using UDT's again them

Hello Louie
As one of the "lost Tribe" members (the one in the phantom) I just wanted to thank you all for the time your taking to make this into what sounds like a really great trip! Also, wanted to say that there will be many excited guys (young and old) ready to get their butts kicked on the river!
We usually show some "Paddle Porn" at the amphitheatre at Gee Creek on Sat. night, maybe we could show some of your stuff?
Anyway, thanks for your (everyones) efforts. We find that if the younger guys have a Fun first experience, they always look forward to comming back and advancing their skills.
If you have any questions feel free to give me a shout.
