Does anyone know where I can get a breakdown paddle kit? I think it was cbcboat that suggested Prijon Wildwasser, but they are backordered on the kit I need (27 mm ferrule) and have been for quite a while.

It's not on their website, but I think I've seen some in their store? You could try Western Canoeing:

Tim and Pat, thanks for the information. Tim, a breakdown aquabound paddle is my back-up plan. After busting a couple of paddles this past year I decided that I need a back-up paddle for my Spanish Fly. So I thought that a custom job would insure that it would fit. I'll probably be talking to the folks at Aquabound in the new year.
