got a link? my googling turned up a *Bending Branches* Viper with a double bend. The Sawyer site didn't show an adjustable paddle or a model called a Viper.

Not sure what the paddle is called, but I have tried an adjustable bent from Sawyer. It uses a kayak ferrule and in the case of the paddle I tried it goes from a 48" to a 56" give or take. We brought it in to help people size bentshafts while in boat vs on land measurements.
Blade size is smaller than a Cedar Egret, my normal touring paddle. Not sure the commercial market for it, I know some adventure racers like large range adjustable kayak paddles (10" or more) due to the variety of craft they may encounter over several races. If this is the paddle you're asking about, I can't see using it in a whitewater environment. They could put a whitewater blade on the shaft if someone was interested, but you could probably talk Mitchell into doing the same thing. The Mitchell ferrule was a twist close (bombproof and simple) vs the snap close that Sawyer uses.
Edit: I think the paddle I used was called a Bonzai Zephyr, it's for SUP paddling and it was just made shorter for our purposes.

Anyone know where you could get one? Isn't listed on the Sawyer website and I'm getting nothing with the normal internet search for a dealer

Oops- I corrected original post
Really looks like a paddle I want to try and hopefully buy. Sawyer needs to post more info.

Galasport's Double Torque shaft...
..For a look one could sneek a peak at Galasport's DoubleTorque carbon (bent)shaft. If shaft grip were a little more situated...the length adjustment would sure make for an easy demo/rental scenario.....
