Who else of the European (and international) community is going to come?
Raff, I look forward to meeting you there.
The Drôme region is very nice, easy paddling, stunning scenery!

"A canoe trip?" he said. "There ain't nothing to go down there for."
"Because it's there," Lewis said.

Foreign paddlers
Hi,
Some open boaters should come from Germany, Swizerland and Belgium but no registrations yet.
Sending the 20 Euros registration fee can be a problem for paddlers living outside France so I propose that they fill in and mail or email the registration form available on the website :
http://www.opencanoefestival.com
The payment can wait...
We will be glad to see you on the Drôme river !
Feel free to contact me if you have questions.

I was very impressed with the perfect organisation and the warm and friendly welcome we had at Gervanne Camping and the Open Canoe Festival Drôme.
Thanks to all the helpers and workers who made that festival such a huge success. Close to 200 c-paddlers on the water, unfortunately never at the same spot at the same time. So there will be no pictures to prove it, I fear (I don't have any...).
Thanks to Paul who organized it. It was good meeting and talking to you, although you were so busy running errands and making things work. Thanks for your time.
Hi to Beereddy. Sorry for not saying good-bye to you. We left in a hurry and I couldn't spot you around. You were probably out paddling another one of the test boats...

There's a short report about that festival online (for those who can read German - and for the others with lots of pictures):
