granola and wackytobaki sound good to me....
not to throw too much science into the spiritual, but falling water is one of the things that produces negatively charged ions (along with wood burning, thunderstorms, and some other things that elude me presently), and negative ions produce a euphoric feeling. so whitewater has got that going for it as well.
all that said, i wont turn down a bowl of granola or wakitobaki, and i do consider being on the water a connection to something intangible...not that i can quite put a label on what it is. i do know, it pretty much always serves as a good pick me up.
