TSRA is having a trip for all levels (including newbies) on the Nanty. I have run the Nanty a good number of times, but will be the first for my wife who just got into ww last year. Shes been on the Hiwassee a couple of times, we ran the upper sections of the Buffalo river in AR last month, and she did great on all trips.
I just sold one outfitted tandem canoe, and prolly wont have the outfitting done on the other one in time for this trip.
For her introduction to the Nanty, I'm thinking of taking an outfitted sea eagle 330 (a ducky tandem inflatable). It's rated for class III as sold. I have added NRS bandit seats, and foot pegs.
Does this sound like a workable/wise boat choice? I obviously want it to go well for both of us.

No way you can blow it in a Ducky. You have to really try to swim in that thing. especially on the nanty.
