I use old symmetrical kayak paddles that have been broken. Then just add a t-grip from a broken raft company paddle.

If any of you are interested, ive got an old Perception JIB already outfitted as a c1 that i started paddling when i was 10, makes a sweet c1 for kids under around 100lbs
