finding a leak in an airbag

I cannot locate a slow leak. It is such a slow leak I can keep it inflated for a day by blowing it up every hour, but still...

Tried filling it and stuffing it into a large wash tub to look for bubbles. Tub too small/bag too big = no luck. Tried wetting down all the seams to look for bubbles = ditto.

what am I missing?

I thought I had a leak and found that the large valve for inflating the bag with a pump was not closing properly.

I found it using my bathtub full of water. I can sympathize with you though, as that bag is unwieldy in a small bathroom, and it took my wife holding it down while I stuck my head down by the water to find where the bubbles were coming from.

Use soapy water and wet the whole thing with that - the leak should present itself.

Watered down green slime - load, inflate and let it self fix.

Only issue is that the bag then looks like its got mold from now on. But that look ties well with the rest of my gear.

Go over the bag with your ear real close, you may be able to hear it or detect the puff of air. Last time my bag leaked it wasn't at the seam but in the exposed area where it contacted the bag cages
