Whatever Bob did while making that saddle works for me - that is in my Maxim, and as I said in other threads, I can paddle a while in that boat without pain.

It's when your're out of the Boat that you encounter real pain !

Wow! Just got home from work to a real treat!!! Thanks everyone for the help and for posting the pics.

Bob, I found your "in phases" photo set very helpful. This bulkhead thing just seems like too many details and dimensions for a human to handle, but seeing it broken down into parts helps alot.

Craig, as usual some very good tips there. Very good idea about taking winter/summer into account. I'm actually looking forward to being able to just jump in and out of my boat without dealing with straps. Straps is all I've known though so far, and hence the resistance.

Chris, thanks also for the helpful pics. I see a few things in there I'm going to steal. That saddle looks really comfy. Hope to see you on some natural flow soon.

horizongfx-touche, I am a fan of clean outfitting, but i don't paddle open boats.
gel formula for the win. it was the best re-invention since the mixture of fruit in the fruit cup. before it was just peaches or pineapple... think about it.
