Just *one* boat? My ole Dagger Interlude. Would love the same hull in a lighter material, though...

I'd take the L'Edge

Yes, it's a little slow but I've had a blast playboating with mine on the ocoee. Also, it did great in big water. I never got my head wet on the gauley (and it was dry). And the main reason I would choose it as my only boat... It's the best steep creeking canoe period.

The L'Edge would be my answer if "you could only have one boat". If you wanted one boat that was good at everything I think an Ocoee would be the best choice. (I just hope you get an unlimited supply because they break fast when you creek in them).

Spanish Fly gets honorable mention 3rd place in my book.

It would have to be a Spanish Fly,...

it's a dam fine creek boat,
one hades-of-a river runner,
boof's drops incredibly well,
is dry,
is really stable,
it's weight's highly acceptable,
carries well on a hike in,
and is a mighty fine play-boat.

Of course if you don't agree that's fine, for it's only an a opinion!

Dagger Dimension

1. I get to paddle with my sweetie
2. Loves big water
3. It can carry a lot of gear
4. It looks great on my Toyota Rav4
5. Only bummer, is that it weighs a ton

Converted wavesport Z. I've done overnight trips in one of these, paddled big water, and steep creeks. It's a pretty fast boat for it's size, surfs well, and nicely carved turns make it fun to paddle. But I'm real glad this is just a hypothetical question.

New here First post. But I'd have to say my Taureau. This boat is amazing, a little worse for wear but when I need a boat that can do it all and get me through. It's the one.

If I'd say Esquif Blast I'd only own half a boat. So I say a Blast for me and a Canoah America for Martina

Carol has one agreeing paddler. Mine gets used as a tandem and as a solo boat. No creekin, but we don't have steep creeks out here in the middle anyway.
