Nice vid, makes me think I need to try playboating. I am sure it would make me a better paddler.

at what time?

I'm guessing that it's the right side at McCoys (Ottawa River) you're talking about... it'll b-slap you in the "pit" once it locks you in... trust me.
The BIG sticky hole in pt 2 is Lucifers Anus on the Gatineau. when it's at it's prime that hole will b-slap anything that decides to drop in there ... I got first hand experience...  !

Is that Scriver surfing in that Superfly @ 7:25? (in Part II)

It's funny how these boats make it around. I owned that boat for a couple years.
Yes, that particular boat. There are many like it, but that one was mine.
You can "fingerpirnt" ID them by the swirles in the plastic.
I bought it from Gigi, Chris King bought it from me.
Wonder how many other people owned that one........... 8)

Edit:
Just saw the boat again in Part 1 ( 6:22 ) with yet another paddler......
Man, that boat was promiscuious!

Yes, I am pretty sure that this is Mark.

And I am pretty sure the the sequence right before that is Paul Danks surfing in the plastic Groove proto that I currently own. Fun to see stuff like that.

Nope that's him... he claims he was too poor to afford a hair cut back then.

Y'all have clearly heard the audio at the end of the flick when they're driving on the boats... haven't you? It's priceless.

You've got some "Scriver hair" pics on your F.B. page too don't you? :P
