You'll like the prelude, and probably the maxim (I've not tried one but I'm told they're broadly speaking similar to the prelude)avlclimber wrote:Ok, so i'm 5'10" and a whispy 130 lbs. I dig technical class 3-4 rivers, working and eddy hopping the rapids.
Under these conditions how do your "weight sensitive" boats fare? I am heavily considering a jump to the Prelude, and accepting the associated learning curve.
Weight sensitive boats tend to be sensitive to too many pies, rather than only good for a specific range of paddler weights.

I often wonder what ever happened to Maxwell... met him in Minden in 2002 and he was on Cboats for a short time while he was making paddles and then he vanished.ncdavid wrote:http://www.cboats.net/c_db/list.php?type=3&alpha=M

You missed the L'Edge out, which is notorious for it's significant weight.mangy mutt wrote:Dunno what you mean the Prelude, Rodeo, Zoom and Maxim are all pretty light boatsTheKrikkitWars wrote:You forgot the boat you either love or die of crush injuries under...

As you'll see from my recent portrait; I don't think that would be in any way productive...Smurfwarrior wrote:Simple fix, get some bigger arms. You missed the L'Edge out, which is notorious for it's significant weight.

Oh no, really? I guess you are also going to tell me that Esquif only make them in red?TheKrikkitWars wrote:You missed the L'Edge out, which is notorious for it's significant weight.mangy mutt wrote:Dunno what you mean the Prelude, Rodeo, Zoom and Maxim are all pretty light boatsTheKrikkitWars wrote:You forgot the boat you either love or die of crush injuries under...
