Looking for a decent used OC-1 for a beginner somewhere relatively close to Idaho. Not looking to spend a lot but willing to consider.

Idaho and BC might be considered relatively close in the ww canoeing world... so, if you're interested, there is ww canoeing forum in Vancouver, it's mostly for local trips , but we're increasingly in touch with northern BC & Yukon, the Okanagan/Kootenays, Alberta, Washington and Oregon.

In fact, think a handful of of BC boaters might be planning a trip to Idaho this summer.
