Sit on Top Kayak
I know this is probably not the right place to list this, but I'm looking to buy a used sit on top kayak similar to the dagger/perception torrent. Does anyone know of a website similar to this but for kayaks?

Your best bet is to find a regional whitewater board and ask there - Walden's Ridge is great resource in the south, Coastals and Monacacy boards for the mid atlantic, and the Northeast Paddlers Message Board for the Northeast / New England.
For other areas I'm not sure (Mountain Buzz for Colorado? BoatWerks for Canada? ).
Paddle.net and Boatertalk also reach a wide audience.
Good luck on your search! They can be fun, though personally (having paddled both) if I was starting out, or starting someone out with two blades I'd try an inflatable first, such as the NRS Bandit. If nothing else it is lighter and easier to store.

Just stumbled across this after seeing your post. Guessing you probably aren't near Maine though....

I know Whitewater challengers raft company on the lehigh had a couple of beat torrent guide boats for sale.
its a great boat, we have a couple we'd never sell and if that Blue one was near us we'd try and bargain them down.
If your ever near NE Pa or paddling a river Im heading toward your welcome to borrow one (if not currently being used)

Boatertalk
Surprised nobody has mentioned Boatertalk Gear Swap. Very active site I've used a lot.

The Dagger Pegasus is reputed to be a better boat for WW than the Torrent, but Pegasi are pretty scarce. Torrents are probably better for the casual paddler.
Anybody ever seen a KOT?

KOT 2 - Perception Revolution. I almost bought one once. I wish I had, except it takes a lot of room, and I have yet to find someone that would paddle it with me (AdkSara declared it to ugly...).
Here's some video of other folks using them.
You use a seat, and can kneel or sit with your legs out front.

After the Russians came to NOC in 1990 those were going to be the Next Big Thing. Ehh, not so much.
Someday I'm going to put a pedestal and straps on a cheap SOT, just to see how it'll work. Might be the Next Big Thing. Maybe not.

A friend here has a Revolution that he takes down section IV of the Chattooga. One of these days I'm going to take it for a drive...
Another sit-on-top to consider is the Ocean Kayak Yahoo - we've got one and it's very similar to the Torrent (never tried a Pegasus) except that it uses a "knee tree" instead of straps. They are all heavy as hades, but are good boats to stick beginners on and not worry about them too much.
