Evil CHester will be leading two first timers down the UY on Friday!! (Insert evil laugh.) The best part of all is they're butt-boaters! HA HA HA HA HA HA!!! Watch as their frightened faces flash mouth-open fear as they tumble down Charlies for the first time! (More evil laughing.)

Will Justin the nice c-boater direct them into the easy lines or will Evil Chester perpetuate the Canoe Vs. Kayak thing and send them down Tommy's , Time Warp and the National Boof? Come on and find out!

Bring 'em on Justin! I'm used to providing the entertainment on the UY so it will be nice to watch someone else for once!
BTW, there is plenty of room in the campsite. They allow "as many as can fit" at this campground.
We may be utilizing the entire site....

Friday, I'll be waiting at Double P with beer
Saturday, Lower G
Sunday, New??? And then driving nine hours back to Binghamton.

FYI - there really isn't much in the rain dept for this week in VA/WV and the New River is dropping into ditch running range....there will likely be more beer flowing at gauley fest than flow at the New. I won't be on the New.

On the other hand for those heading north after GFest Tygart Valley Falls (park and huck fest) is on the way home and there are quite a few waterfalls to hit up in the 10-15 foot range with different levels.

the flow at VF is currently AW flagged as just a bit high but it will be falling into place quiet well.

I am flying in from Oregon, I will be on the Yough Fri and Monday with Gauley in between. Any Cboater with spare craft willing to let me paddle it will be rewarded with beers.

Sorry if I'm kind of abusing this page, but I've found groups each time I've posted! I know this is kind of a long shot, but if something is running this weekend (particularly Sunday) I would love to get a group together and run it. Preferably CL. 3+ (I'll happily tag along on something like the Big Sandy or tougher creeks like that if there is a strong group) but really happy to do anything. Love the Gauley and the New, but the high temp. is supposed to be 50, so maybe a bit cold for the bigger water.
