Twister or Edge?
Are either of these still around? Does anyone have one laying around that they would be willing to sell?
They look like great boats, any thoughts? I really like slalom style boats and am looking for something to replace a 1978 DeltaWorks OC1.

Re: Twister or Edge?
I've never paddled an Edge but I have paddled a Twister and I liked it, very fast and not too edgy. As far as newer boats I believe that the MIllbrook Fatboy is similar to a Twister but Kaz could speak to that better than I.

You might want to check out the Rayge, Ignitor or wait for Kaz's new boat. 13ft boats are quickly becoming a thing of the past... even at Millbrook.
(Said the guy the has a 13ft Edge and loves the Twister)

Craig- will Kaz's new boat fit in the 10 foot range?

Re: Twister or Edge?
The short 13' and medium 15' Edge are both incredible boats. I highly recommend them.
I would go creeking in them but I don't want to have to repair them. I use them in slalom racing and they are a blast to paddle. They are incredibly fast.

Hey Wendy,
The plug for my new boat, probably called the Rumba, is approx 10'3".
Unfortunately I'm still working on it.
thanks,
Jkaz

Re: Twister or Edge?
Sorry this is straying a bit off topic but.......as I recall, Dave Davidson and Spark Shuman design the Delta solo and tandem boats. They were from the York, PA area. Also Sparky beat John Sweet at OC Nats at NOC way back when.

I've paddled both a lot. More Twister then Edge, I like them both.
I paddle a Rayge now. It has is benifits and one is comfort in paddleing.
The Rayge, just hop in and paddle, very predictable.
The Twister & Edge have certain style of paddleing for both of them designs.

Re: Twister or Edge?
Just for information sake, We have molds for the Twister and 13'and 15' Edges. I believe we built Dooleys' 15' edge. My favorite is the Twister .
