New Wave Fanatic - Asheville, NC

Post by caverdan »

There's a New Wave Fanatic at the Second Gear in Asheville with skirt & cockpit cover for$600. Not my boat. Looks like it is in good condition though.

I looked on the store's website, but they didn't have any pics. Sorry.

I have a Fanatic II that I would be willing to sell. I rarely paddle it since I got a newer, shorter slalom C1. It has a lot of patches, and it leaks a bit, so I would not describe it as good condition, but it still floats.

Thanks, but got a Fanatic 2 already. It's from your neck of the woods, Jeffrey, so you may know of the owner. It's a Valley Mill boat with purple on the hull and deck and a Nations Bank sticker and National Whitewater Championships sticker on the back deck. Probably paddled by a right-handed c-1'er.

I don't recognize your boat, but I didn't get into slalom until 2008, and, as you know, the Fanatic II was outdated by then.
