WTB Legend, Rogue, or Appalachian
Looking for something to use with my 4 yr old. I'm really new to open boats but have some OC1 experience. We paddled a Legend 15 and was able to paddle it turned backwards which helped offset our weight differences. We had a blast on some class 1 and easy 2. Will be used on slow moving to easy ww rivers so flatwater performance is not an issue. Maybe an occasional overnighter but not very often.

Re: WTB Legend, Rogue, or Appalachian
Millbrook AC DC... that's what I started WW with 30+ years ago with my father, that's what I'm starting my daughter off in (well, a ducky and shredder first... but we've done some tripping and class I in the AC/ DC.)
The best part is the weight.
Occasionally you'll see one used... but I'm fairly sure Kaz still has the mold.
For flat water when they are ready for a solo boat be sure to check out hornbeck boats (http://www.hornbeckboats.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) - they have kids flat water solo boats and gear, and a trade-in / up program if I recall correctly.

Keep the C!
