Let's face it: there is too much paddle news on the Internet.
You just need to know where to look and have the time to scan all those sites. Chances are you don't... No need to miss anything though. Playak looks at all important sites and presents you lists of all the latest manufacturer news, trip reports, forum postings (e.g. the CBoats Forum) and press releases.
The lists are updated every 5 minutes !
Bookmark the page and have a quick look once a day and you'll always know everything that matters (and more I'm afraid).
Check it out here: http://playak.com/paddle-news.php
Enjoy,

Well...
Thanks for the visit and the insight Jeroen.
Unfortunately - Cboating has always been a sub-set of the paddling community! So it is logical to have a site focused on just what the interest are of the cboaters.
Personally, I've learned a lot here on this forum - as well as making new friends along the way!!
Prior to finding the forum I was sort of out there on my own flopping about! Since I found the Forum my skill sets have improved with "on topic" (as opposed to OT) posts - full of C boat specific info.
To sum it up - I personally get a lot of support here on issues that matter to me.
Now if you want to change the URL to "playnoe.com", or the like, with a focus on C I might come visit! Oh heck I'll visit anyway - I'm not a paddling snob!
Otherwise I'll hang in the boonies with my brothers and sisters of the C - learning the way of the single blade and buying old (6 to 8 month) outdated kayaks to retrofit into much more user friendly machines!
CU on the river and in the WW C'en!

hey guys, i just thought i would chime in and say that there are quite a lot (relatively) of c-1 articals and VIDEOS on the updates page. i was looking through it yesterday, and saw some really cool stuff. i found several websites that i had never heard of before, that as c-1 friendly, if not spacific. it still isnt as great a resource as this forum, or website, but i will certainly check that page from yime to time. --- joey
