I've searched the forum and browsed many of the pages looking for info on this, but haven't found any. Is bulkhead outfitting an a option for a kayak conversion on a bigger creeker like a Critical Mass?
I'm interested in getting a plastic boat ASAP. I went against everyone's advice and bought a Royalex boat! Can't wait to get to WV and take it down the New at low water and hopefully I'll be ready for the Lochsa in the spring, bought Colorado creeks are taking there toll already!
Bulkhead outfitting in K1 conversion?

I don't know anything about the Critical Mass. I have used bulkheads in both my Big EZ & Forplay. Here is a link to photos of the Forplay: http://new.photos.yahoo.com/wh20crazy/a ... 2349975259

I'm sure it's a matter of how much flex you're going to get out of your minicel. Might be helful to use some of the stiffer stuff around the outside in a larger boat, or you could even do a little bit of composite work to stiffen things up a bit. I remember a few of those (spanish) Fly boats were all minicell bulkhead systems.
