New Hampshire or Vermont?

Post by telemarkfreak »

Hello I'm looking for a cottage to rent in NH or VT or even Maine with my small family. Do you know about something where there is hiking to do and also some whitewater around?

The Mt Washington Valley N.H. would have what you want, but most of the whitewater is gone by mid may unless it is very rainy. What kind of paddling are you looking to do? If you want to have summertime releases to work with try the Deerfield river/ Berkshire region of western mass. Vt is very close to that area. Or the Katahdin/ W. B. Penobscot area of Maine There is also other hiking/boating options in maine.
