ALF - Thanks Louie

Post by Scriver »

Just got back from ALF. Awesome time. Thanks Louie so much for your hospitality and southern charm. Lots of highlights for me. 2 new creeks for me and a couple of great runs on the wataga. nice to see some old friends there but nice too to see some new faces and pretty hot young boaters. That along with the steadily increasing numbers, and some new OC designs on the water, and a forthcoming Openboating flim by Will Lyons and LVM all bode well for the sport.

Aye-men...

Much as the little bugger pisses off folks in the written word (werds), he can be particularly helpful in person. Over last two ALF's have seen him put out a more than a couple fires, one or two of them mine.

It's the highlight of my year! Had a stellar time and met wonderful folk. Thanks guys for showing me the lines!
If anyone is out our way up in the "Northern American" area, let us know. We'd be please to show you our rivers!
And yep Louie. I still want to see you up here again in the near future. We DO have creek-like lines, ya know.
