hi- i am a solid class 3 paddler with a semi reliable roll in the asheville, nc area. i am looking for a new boat and would like to demo an esquif detonator or l'edge. if you have one of these boats and would be willing to lend it to me for a day on the nantahala, i would apreciate it. let me know.

Sounds like you are looking for a freebie (no blame there), but the NOC does have a L'Edge (and maybe a Detonator) for rent. It is about $45 for a full day rental, or one hour for free, if you are satisfied doing a few laps on the falls.
