EasyRider Ouzel 15-8 any info?
Crossed paths with one of these but can't find any info on it. Anyone paddled whitewater in one? Would love to hear about it.

Doesn't look great for any real whitewater.
I think there are better tripping designs if that is what you are after - especially looking at the weight of the thing.

Re: EasyRider Ouzel 15-8 any info?
I had one when I was living in Seattle. Really great build quality and could haul a ton of weight and still be stable. They don't have any rocker to speak of but do incorporate some interesting design features that make them turn much better than expected. I mainly used mine on lakes and the sound but I also did a bit of fishing on the Nisqually (class 2ish), Green (class 2ish), and Skykomish (up to class 3ish) and never had problems even when weighted down. That being said it definitely it prefers lakes and mild rivers and does not perform as well as some more river oriented designs. It does however take salt water into consideration by using non-corroding hardware on its gunnels.
