I didn't change the trim of my Octane 91 when I got it, just cut the saddle to size.
I have been watching other Octanes on the river and some have the stern touching the water while mine is about 3 inches out of the water.
What is the trim other paddlers are using?
Is the boat drier if stern is touching the water?

I prefer mine slightly stern heavy for stern squirts, rock smears, books when creekinq. I cut it back 1 1/2 inches. When I lean forward aggressively I'm in neutral position.

The O91 is a cheater boat, cheater for fun!!! I guess if choosing I would go stern heavy but let us be real, there is no wrong trim. Go, paddle, have fun.
