While learning from Eli on the New last month we were putting in above Fayette Station for one of my swims and were ask.

"You all goin fishin?"

and

"Is that easier than a kayak"

both of which I answered no

No Kimmie not different trips. It went like this, put in above the rapid, go part way down, flip, swim for life, go to take out below rapid, shuddle back to top of rapid, then repeat, repeat, repeat. By try four I was worn out and beat up.

I am from southeast Ohio. I am taking a WW canoe course this Aug. I am looking for open boaters in the New River area to boat with after I learn not to suck water and die. I hope to be able to boat in the west Penn. and West VA. areas.
